About our studio sessions
Studio Sessions are a more personal, flexible alternative to our usual ticketed venue events across Manchester. Designed for smaller groups and private bookings, they offer a more focused clay experience with extra guidance and creative freedom. Whether you’re completely new to clay or returning with a specific idea in mind, Studio Sessions offer a relaxed space to slow down, learn, and create at your own pace. Pricing 1 person — £85 2 people — £140 3 people — £195 4 people — £240 5 people — £275 6 people — £300 A standard studio session lasts 2 hours. How Booking Works Studio Sessions are booked by request rather than instant booking. Please submit your preferred date, time, and group size using the booking form. Once your booking request has been approved, a payment link will be sent to secure your private session. These sessions take place in our dedicated studio space and are ideal for people who want a more relaxed and personalised clay hand building experience. - tailored to your ideas and skill level - ideal for developing techniques or creating more detailed pieces - flexible: you are welcome to make whatever you like within reason and within the session timeframe -free parking on site -based in a historical cotton mill: a dreamy top floor studio overlooking the city scape A standard studio session is suitable for most beginner-friendly hand-built pieces such as mugs, bowls, candle holders, trinket dishes, and small vases. Larger, more detailed, or multiple-piece projects may require additional studio time, charged at £40 per extra studio hour, and in some cases additional material costs. Any additional time or material costs will be discussed during your session. We accept contactless card payments or cash. If you already have a project in mind, feel free to get in touch before your session and we can advise approximately how much time may be needed. Whether you're planning a creative date, a relaxed session with friends, or some solo time to reconnect with your creativity, Studio sessions offer a creative, quirky and welcoming space to slow down, learn something new, and explore clay at your own pace. When you have finished your clay creations, you can then select the glaze colour of your choice from our selection. Once they have been through our kiln, we will then contact you to collect your ceramics ( this can take 1-2 months). Delivery can be organised if needed!
